Great staffing, very helpful on the boat. Captain does his best to make sure everyone has a great time and is able to pull something up. Everyone was very encouraging to the youth that were fishing and again, were very helpful.

Had a fantastic trip! Birthday present for my 11 yr daughter, her first time out. Captain James, deckhands, Aaron & Ventura on the Fiesta were all awesome! Didn’t catch our limit but the experience alone was well worth the $! Captain James & the deckhands were very knowledgeable & always there to assist. Captain even gave little one a tour of the wheel house & continues to check on her throughout our day. Will totally come back! Thank you to the Captain & crew you guys were amazing!

Went on the half day trip. Crew was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Had them fillet out catch to save us time. Well worth it. Would highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best places to get some deep sea action!.. I’ve experience one other spot in San Diego and let me tell you virgs deep sea fishing is the S***!!.. I’ve caught 3 lincods and came in the 3rd for jackpot in one day!.. come out here I bet you will have a blast!!..

The captain put us on the fish. The black pearl is a nice boat, One of the deck hands was RUDE, HE IS A TALL younger KID..... NOT.....COOL AT ALL.I've been going our on boats for over 30 year's, I dont need a kid to trying to tell me what to do.Other deck had was a good dude. Overall good trip....fishing was slow.

Went on 1/2 day rock fishing trip with my two boys. We were on 'The Black Pearl'. Crew was terrific. Fishing was good. Price was excellent value. Highly recommended. My 9 year old wanted to go back the next day.

You can get all the information about their 1/2-day, 3/4-day, full day, long range, and other special trips they offer and can purchase your tickets in the store.The friendly staff is knowledgeable about the area's fishing and will gladly answer all your questions!!!

I have taken trips with Virg's 4 times now. I have always caught my limit of rockfish. I take the 3/4 day trips and sometimes the 1/2 day.

Ok fishing trip. Ruff water and swell. Caught OUR boat LIMIT, freezer full agan. Pod of dolphins ran with the boat. Pod of whales breaching. Had added treat.Reasonable guarantee catch.

Went with Virg's to go rock fishing. The captain was great and the deck hands were readily available to help with any needs. An excellent experience for everyone.

My niece, sister in law and myself went fishing on lady's day this last wed on the Rita G. Which is our favorite boat. We only go on this boat. Frank puts us on the fish every time and we do what we came to do catch our limit and have an awesome time. Manny and Aaron are the best and do an amazing job. Love this boat and the crew and will keep coming back. Thanks fellas we're truely grateful.

Today my wife and I went on Virgs 12 hour long fishing trip. My wife was really looking forward to the trip. Unfortunately she got sea sick right away and was not able to fish. She caught a couple. And I did not even notice until I left that she had more fish than I did. Not just more fish. But bigger fish. Virgs made sure she went home with her limit. And all big nice fish. It put a smile on her face and that means more than anything. Thank you Virgs.

Took a trip on THE BLACK PEARL today with the husband we enjoyed our day fishing . Nice and friendly staff definitely will go again.

Drove 5 hours for a trip just to find out trip was cancelled .2:30 is when they will notify you.this was the 2nd time a trip was cancelled for me..staff people are good...tackle store is good just call or don't leave until you know for sure trip is a go.

Good landing, good selection of poles lures and reels, captain James, and Sergio put you on good red's and ling's, captain Frank!! Well if you can't say something good, don't say anything at all!! Get it!!

Kaitlin will amaze you with her gaff skills. Brian will put you on quality fish. The only boat on the central coast I will fish on anymore.

It was the best day ever! We loved our captain James and crew Ventura and Aaron. They were so helpful !! We all caught our limits ! We're gonna make it an annual trip! Only bad thing bruce said we couldn't use bathroom at the shop !

This was a great experience! I took a half day trip with my daughters (7 & 9) and my dad on the Black pearl. We went out in the morning and we all caught our limit in fish. The staff was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable about everything. They helped to bait the hooks, reel in as needed and cast. It didn’t matter your age or experience level, the staff were very efficient with attending to everyone’s needs. Before we docked, they weighed and filleted the fish for us. We had a really special experience on the Fiesta boat and with the crew. This was the particular boat and crew my Grandpa would fish with and after his passing the crew took us out to sea from Morro Bay to spread his ashes and do a burial at sea. The boat was clean and the crew was extremely friendly and helpful. I can see why my grandpa enjoyed spending time on that boat. I’d highly recommend using this company to do any fishing experiences.

This tackle shop is awesome, knowledgeable staff and they run their own charter boat with a great captain and crew. They know what they're doing and you'll catch fish. But stay home if you get seasick, Central coast waters can be a little rough.

Went out with a group of friends on the Rita G and had a great time. The Captain and crew were excellent, they worked hard and took care of us.

Brought my family out to Morro Bay for the weekend and we came to Virg's to get some bait and some local knowledge. Pamela, who was helping us, is very kind and even told us a good spot for local beach fishing, which we managed to catch some decent fish with even poor conditions. A great selection of bait: frozen anchovies, lug worms, squid, and more. I managed to check out some fishing gear and is well outfitted with everything you would need. Definitely recommend anybody in the area to give Virg's a visit before heading out to the water. Thanks again, Pamela. It was a pleasure to meet you and hope to see you again soon.

Amazing fishing experience. Deck hands where polite and worked extremely hard. Captain was polite and exchanged great conversation. Our fishing trip was from 7am to 3pm and we ended up limiting out. The ship was clean and head(bathroom) was also clean. Worth the money and highly recommend the sport fishing.
